Parts Catchers

These units are typically mounted inside the machine tool. Parts that are caught generally slide down a chute that flips up under the part as it is being cut off. The part exits the lathe into a container fastened to the door. These types of parts catchers are used for smaller parts that do not damage themselves as they accumulate in the container. For larger parts that damage easily, a part exit conveyor may be added for safe handling.

Parts Unloaders

These units are typically mounted outside the machine tool. Lathes that do not have room inside the lathe because of a fourth axis or some other obstruction require this style of unloader. Larger part diameters or long parts, in general, typically use this type of catcher, as do parts that are extremely sensitive or require special care.

Long Shaft Unloading

These units are used for parts that are too long to fit through the front door or are fed through a sub-spindle. Parts are extracted through the end of the lathe and racked appropriately for easy off loading.

Toellner systems have caught parts with diameters as large as 10 inches and as long as 5 feet. We will custom design a unit for any size part you have!

Deliveries can be from stock or require up to six weeks, depending on inventories at time of order. Factory installation is recommended.
