Finished Parts Conveyor & Accumulation Tables

Standard-Accumulation Tables

Finished part accumulation conveyors and tables allow finished machined parts to be moved away from the parts unload drop zone. Conveyors are typically four feet long and are positioned up against the front of lathes. Additional lengths are available. The conveyor transports parts to a mobile accumulation table or other accumulation system specified for individual applications.

Finished Parts Accumulation Conveyors

Typically 6’-9’ long parts are accumulated on an indexing conveyor. That utilizes a sensor at the end of the conveyor to indicate a full condition, and to shut off the load/unload system.

Finished Parts Conveyor & Multi-Row Accumulation Table

Multi-row accumulation tables are used to allow removal of higher volumes of finished machined parts from an unload drop zone. The conveyor can be of varying lengths depending on space requirements and is typically positioned against the front of the lathe and opposite the raw parts in-feed system. It conveys finished parts to a multi-row accumulation table situated perpendicular to the finished parts conveyor. Parts are systematically removed from a conveyor and placed into rows on the accumulation table by a pneumatic part pusher.

High Volume Multi-Row Accumulation System

Multi-row accumulation systems are designed to remove higher volumes of finished machined parts from the unload drop zone. These systems can vary in size depending on space requirements and the desired unattended run time. They can be positioned up against the front of the lathe opposite the raw parts in-feed system or on the right side of the lathe after sub-spindle extraction. Parts are systematically removed from the conveyor and placed into rows on multiple shelves in the accumulation system.

Finished Parts Conveyor with Multi-Row Cleated Accumulation Conveyor

Multi-row cleated accumulation conveyors allow sensitive finished machined parts to be moved away from the parts catcher drop zone. Finished parts conveyors can be varying lengths depending on space requirements and are typically positioned up against the front of the lathe opposite the raw parts in-feed system. They convey finished parts to a system of multiple cleated belt conveyors situated perpendicular to the finished parts conveyor. Parts are systematically removed from the conveyor and placed into rows on the accumulation conveyor. Sensitive parts sit in between cleats for protection. The accumulation conveyors will index per cycle on a progression equal to the on-center measurement between cleats until system is full.
